Over the weekend Douglas and Scotius and myself were lamenting the end of the writer's strike and its direct effect on the quality of Late Night Conan O'Brien. During the strike Conan experienced comedic highs and joygasms that had been lost throughout the years of repetitive monologues and Kirstie Alley fat jokes. Watching mid-strike conan was a perfect blend of random, awkward, unscripted and unexpected and it was right in conan's wheelhouse....watching it made you realize just how formulaic the show had become over the past 5 years
anyway, thought i'd post what i felt was the funniest bit they did. It was a "getting to know the employees of Late Night" segment featuring a TRUE orginal, Associate Producer Jordan Schlansky. Enjoy.

I saw this skit! you didn't adequately explain it to me though... so I wasn't sure if it was the same one.
Why is this guy so silent? Is it an act? Or do you think he's worried that if he opens his mouth too much it will reveal his homosexuality? I mean he has to be gay, right? A vespa? rush? the dancing and the bullwhip??
