When Bee Movie Promos Go Bad...

( note to the readers: this post was written in late october and written in a genuine fit of rage and emotion at the flurry of Seinfeld Bee Movie promos....it was to be sealed in forever, deep down in the lonely THMP draft vault's forever....until i re-read today and laughed.)

The return of Seinfeld.

A month and a half ago that would have been cause for heel-clicking joygasms and humorous "What's the Deal with _____ ?" observations. On Nov 2nd. things feel a bit different.

Before September, Seinfeld had been nothing more than a whisper in the wind, an Obi Wan like Hermit solely living in our collective conciousness only through TBS re-runs and that kid at your office who can find a Seinfeld reference that fits literally any occasion.

Since September Jerry Seinfeld has scissorkicked mainstream america in the Temple with shameless media-whoring bliztkrieg the likes of which have never been seen before.

He's been everywhere one promo was cleverly disguised as an episode of the popular sitcom "30 Rock." His hit-or-miss "TV-Junior" promos have peppered the airwaves of all of NBC's weekly lineup and they mostly miss.

He has raped the "tounge-in-cheek advertisement" and left us bleeding, shivering and crying on the bathroom floor whispering "the b-b-bees.....sweet jesus make them stop....the bees.....stop them from buzzzing around my soul....."

Bee Movie. Coming to a theater near you on November 2nd.
