The Wachowski...brother and sister?

I learned some interesting news about two of my favorite directors today. The Wachowski brothers, responsible for two of the coolest and most original films of our generation (The Matrix and V for Vendetta) are no longer brothers. How is this possible you ask? No, they didn't have a Hollywood-style falling out. Nor did they simply decide to part ways at the nexus of their careers. Instead, one of them decided to grow a vagina...literally.

In between filming of the Matrix trilogy and an upcoming project, Speed Racer, the director formally known as Larry has been on hormone treatments and has gone through numerous painful surgeries to become a woman. His/her transformation has recently been completed and Larry is now a full fledged woman. Woah. I'm not sure if this was widely known or not, but it certainly caught me off guard. Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen I present to you...Linda Wachowski.
